Learn what to do if your mobile data with MobileXY is not working - simple steps to resolve it.

Before a trip, just in case contact us and find out which roaming partners we have in countries that you are going to visit.

Once you arrive in a country covered by your plan, turn on MobileXY eSIM and select it as a mobile data source on your device settings. MobileXY eSIM will automatically register with a local network and connect to the Internet within 1-2 minutes.

If you’re having trouble with mobile data, try the steps below:

  • If you are in good cellular coverage, try restarting your device first.
  • Go to the MobileXY app and ensure the eSIM profile status is set to “Installed”.
  • Go to your device’s settings – Mobile Data/Cellular and ensure that data roaming is enabled.
  • Go to Settings → Mobile Data (or Cellular) and look under the SIMs section.
  • You’ll see all installed SIMs there. The MobileXY eSIM may be labeled Secondary, Travel, Personal, Business, or a custom name you set during installation. Make sure that Network Selection is automatic and turn on Airplane mode a couple of times until the phone gets registered in a local network.
  • If the previous steps did not help, go to Device Settings – Mobile Data/Cellular → Secondary/MobileXY → Network selection → Turn off automatic. Wait a few seconds, and the phone will display a list of available operators. If you don’t have a chance to contact us for roaming partners, please try selecting operators in the list one by one, then turn airplane mode on/off.

Note: Do not remove the MobileXY profile and do not scan the QR code again, as these actions may delete the predefined settings.

  • MobileXY user ID. It can be found in MobileXY app → Settings → Account Settings
  • Name of the country/region you are in
  • Describe what are you trying to do and the troubleshooting steps you took
